My journey to where I am today didn’t happen overnight. The challenges I faced along the way shaped me into the driven, independent person I am now. I wouldn’t be here without the mentors who supported me through high school and my time at WPI, where I earned my bachelor’s degree. Growing up, I was curious about science but also loved basketball, and that curiosity ultimately led me to a career in the pharmaceutical industry, where I worked for over a decade.

However, I always had my eye on financial freedom, and real estate became the path to achieving it. My father passed away when I was young, and my mom became the sole provider for me and my sisters. That taught me the importance of resilience and independence. I learned how to solve my own problems, seek guidance when I needed it, and always keep moving forward. Those lessons became the foundation for my real estate journey.

In 2018, I decided to buy my first property while balancing a demanding job as a supervisor at a radiopharmaceutical company. My schedule was chaotic, and I didn’t trust the agents I was working with. I quickly realized the timing wasn’t right. Shortly after, I quit my job, earned my real estate license, and began to carve out a new career path. That decision changed everything.

I eventually joined Jon’s team at Candor, and it was one of the best decisions I’ve made. Back then, the team was small—just four people—but Jon was the mentor I needed. I followed his lead, absorbing everything I could. By the end of my first year, I successfully landed an off-market property through a direct-to-seller marketing campaign, proving that persistence pays off.

Over the last four years, I’ve balanced being a real estate agent, investor, and maintaining a W-2 job. Living under my means allowed me to save enough to reach a point where I now have financial freedom. This journey hasn’t been easy, but I’m incredibly grateful for my family and friends, who supported me even when I wasn’t always present.

Mom and I

Looking ahead, real estate will remain at the core of what I do. I plan to expand my investments, continue flipping smaller properties, and grow my rental portfolio—this time looking at opportunities out of state. I also recently registered for the Unrestricted Construction Supervisor License, which I’m excited to leverage, especially in bridging the gap for Spanish-speaking clients in construction and real estate. Probate real estate is another area I’m passionate about, and I’ll continue growing in that space as a certified probate specialist.

Another exciting avenue for me is solar. Pairing solar energy solutions with real estate feels like a natural fit. I’m already speaking with homeowners every day, and incorporating solar allows me to strengthen those relationships while offering them additional value.

On a personal note, I’m looking forward to reconnecting with family and friends now that I’ve reached this stage of my life. I’ve been hyper-focused for years, but it’s time to nurture the relationships that matter most. I also love animals—especially my pets, Aryah and Sebastian. This year, I swam with whale sharks, and I’m eager to experience more adventures like that in the future.

As I look toward 2025, I feel a deep sense of gratitude and excitement. This is just the beginning of everything I’ve worked so hard to achieve, and I can’t wait to see what’s next.
